The Coordinator acts as a liaison between the patient and the Pediatric Dentists / Specialists to review treatment needs and assist the patient through the scheduling process. Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. He or she helps with scheduling, routing phone calls and assists with obtaining patient information. The ideal candidate has some post high school education or training and two years of experience in a Dental office position of similar responsibility (front desk, administrative assistant, etc.). Candidates must have a pleasant and courteous personality, administrative, and organizational, phone and computer skills. Experience with Open Dental practice management software is preferred but not necessary.
