6+ Months (Potential for Extension) Insync Consulting is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Service Rep to support a busy outpatient clinic in Simi Valley . If you enjoy providing exceptional patient care while keeping clinic operations running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you. As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a key role in both clinical and administrative patient care by: Rooming patients and preparing exam rooms Taking and documenting vital signs Assisting providers during patient visits Performing venipuncture, vision screening, and audiometry (as qualified) Verifying insurance coverage and updating patient demographics Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient referrals Obtaining authorizations and assisting with referral management Collecting co-pays and maintaining accurate patient records Answering phones, directing calls, and providing excellent customer service Preparing charts and scanning documentation into the EMR Managing medical records, filing, and maintaining office supplies Supporting clinic operations while ensuring a positive patient experience Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Healthcare Provider) Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Basic computer and electronic medical record (EMR) experience Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy Certificate Audiometry and Vision Screening Certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire) Previous outpatient clinic or physician office experience Insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorization experience
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
