Our therapists have the time and autonomy to assess, treat, educate, and build meaningful relationships with their patients. What your day looks like 1:1 patient care 60-minute initial evaluations 45-minute follow-ups scheduled in 60-minute blocks, leaving a 15-minute buffer for documentation and rest. Direct ownership of treatment planning from evaluation through discharge
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$65-75/hour Additional benefits: Up to $1,000/year in continuing-education reimbursement 40 hours of paid sick leave Performance bonus based on treatment quality, patient satisfaction, and professionalism About Bloom Bloom Orthopedic Physical Therapy is a private, out-of-network practice in Sunnyvale focused on helping patients move better, recover from injury, and return to the activities that matter to them. Our patients include active adults, working professionals, pregnant and postpartum patients, and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgery. Your Role You will independently manage an outpatient caseload from evaluation through discharge, with support and collaboration available when needed.
Responsibilities include:
Performing evaluations and developing individualized plans of care Providing evidence-informed treatment, including therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy, movement retraining, and patient education as appropriate Progressing patients toward functional, recreational, and return-to-sport goals Creating individualized home exercise programs Completing timely clinical documentation What We're Looking For Required 1+ years of outpatient physical therapy experience, or a new graduate with pelvic-health specialty training Active California Physical Therapist license or eligibility for California licensure Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program; DPT or equivalent PT degree Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills Comfortable working independently in an outpatient setting Organized, reliable, and comfortable communicating directly with patients Preferred Pelvic-health training, including experience or interest in internal pelvic-floor assessment and treatment Pregnancy/postpartum rehabilitation experience Orthopedic and sports rehabilitation experience Fluency in Mandarin speaking Who Thrives at Bloom This role may be a particularly good fit if you: Value having more time to provide thoughtful, individualized care Prioritize quality over high-volume productivity quotas Enjoy clinical autonomy Are passionate about personal growth Other information This is a part-time, on-site position for 20-25 hours per week. The exact weekly hours will be negotiated based on the employee's preference. Once agreed upon, the employee will have a consistent, fixed weekly schedule.
