Full Job Description Formulation Technician I Location:
Sunnyvale, CA Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30
PM Schedule:
Full-time | Overtime & weekends as needed
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Formulation Technician I to support manufacturing laboratory operations involving the assembly, packing, and testing of ion exchange media used in chromatography consumables.
Responsibilities:
Assemble, pack, and test resin products. Complete production work orders according to SOPs. Accurately record test results and maintain production records/logs. Follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures. Perform basic weighing and measurement of multiple components. Use hand tools such as wrenches, torque drivers, and tweezers. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment. Support safety and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, laboratory, or a related environment preferred. Knowledge of GMP/GLP and SOPs. Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills. PC skills with spreadsheet/database software. Ability to read and follow written procedures and verbal instructions. Chemistry or chromatography experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Work Environment:
Laboratory/manufacturing setting. PPE required, including lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, and safety shoes. Exposure to strong odors, chemicals, fumes, and hazardous/toxic materials.
