In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and clients, managing incoming inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth intake process. Your energetic approach will help foster positive patient experiences while maintaining compliance with health regulations and privacy standards. Responsibilities Greet patients and clients warmly via phone, email, establishing a welcoming environment Collect and verify patient information accurately using patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Schedule appointments efficiently while coordinating with healthcare providers and ensuring availability Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records in accordance with health regulation policies and privacy laws Assist patients with insurance verification, billing questions, and documentation requirements Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision, updating patient data promptly and accurately Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointment details, follow-up instructions, and necessary documentation Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, typing reports, and preparing documentation for clinical staff Requirements Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy and confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA compliance) Experience supporting medical administrative functions such as appointment scheduling and insurance processing Familiarity with patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR) systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and client interactions Understanding of medical terminology and health insurance processes Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining accuracy in data entry and record keeping Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Typing speed that supports efficient documentation and communication tasks Answering phone system Ring Central.
