Job Description
Job Summary Phoenix Orthotics and Prosthetics is seeking a dependable, professional, and organized Medical Office Assistant / Front Desk team member to join our Fort Collins clinic. We are looking for someone with previous medical office experience who is comfortable working with patients, managing multiple administrative responsibilities, and helping keep the daily operations of a busy healthcare office running smoothly. Experience with OPIE Anywhere is highly preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated and willing to learn. Spanish-speaking or bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, although bilingual proficiency is not required. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner Schedule and manage patient appointments Greet and assist patients upon arrival Provide and collect patient forms and required documentation Receive, organize, and process incoming faxes Maintain accurate patient information and office records Perform general administrative and clerical duties Work within OPIE Anywhere for scheduling and other office functions Communicate with patients, providers, and other healthcare offices as needed Help maintain an organized and efficient office environment Provide general administrative support to the clinical team Qualifications Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with patients Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Reliable transportation required Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with OPIE Anywhere Experience in an Orthotics & Prosthetics practice or related healthcare setting Bilingual English/Spanish or conversational
