We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, friendly and motivated Patient Care Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys helping people, and is looking for an opportunity to grow within. Duties include, but are not limited to: Greet patients warmly, manage high-volume incoming phone calls with professionalism, and efficiency Scheduling and patient registration Verifying insurance benefits and obtaining authorizations Checking patients in and collecting payment Communicating office policies and procedures clearly and professionally Addressing patient questions and concerns with empathy and efficiency Facilitating smooth operations between the front office and the clinical staff Keeping a clean and orderly workspace Assisting with additional administrative duties as needed
Skills and Experience:
Prior experience in a physical therapy or medical office is strongly preferred. Ability to multi-task is key to this position. Ability to apply second-level thinking. Familiarity with insurance verification, authorizations, and benefits. Excellent computer skills including Google Drive, Gmail & Microsoft Office Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset A positive attitude, empathy, team player, and willingness to learn are a must!
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
