Performs duties in accordance with assigned responsibilities and organizational policies. Core Responsibilities Receive referrals Verify patient information Enter data accurately Communicate status Resolve missing info Route referrals Maintain records Track progress Support conversion Ensure timely processing Compliance Responsibilities Follow company policies, Medicare/Medicaid requirements, and accreditation standards Complete required training, competency assessments, and ongoing education based on role responsibilities Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of documentation Report concerns, errors, or compliance issues through established channels without fear of retaliation Report patient/customer concerns or complaints and support resolution in accordance with company processes Participate in audits, monitoring, and performance improvement activities Support adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements in daily work Minimum Qualifications Administrative experience preferred 1-2 years of customer service experience Knowledge of ICD-10 and HCPCS coding and medical terminology Ability to use required systems, applications, and technology to perform job responsibilities Meets and maintains qualifications required for the position Benefits NMS offers benefits to qualifying employees.
