  • Job Overview:
  • We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our locally run healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will provide advanced medical care in an inpatient setting, focusing on patient assessment, treatment, and collaboration with the medical team. Schedule will start out at 5 days on, 5 days off with no night call. This schedule will advance over a period of months to 5 days on with night call and 10 days completely off. Your five days on will include rounding on patients and new admits.
  • Duties:
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans
  • Provide medical care including treatment of medical conditions, management of medications, discussions with family and staff
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Utilize our electronic health record system Wellsky for accurate documentation
  • Provide care in an inpatient setting
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in patient assessment and acute care management
  • Ability to manage internal medicine patients effectively
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with medical teams
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLLS) is required Joining our team as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing high-quality care to diverse patient populations.
