Summary:
Provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates the patient care activities for medical practice.
Responsibilities:
1. Greets and welcomes patients upon arrival and communicates pleasantly and effectively. 2. Ensures accuracy of patient's information, including demographics and insurance. 3. Answers phones, routes call, takes messages, and assures accurate communication both verbally and via the EMR system 4. Registers, verifies, and schedules patient appointments, testing, and referrals. 5. Schedules and reschedules appointments according to office protocols 6. Monitors applications and manage worklists as applicable. 7. Collects co-pays and reconciles money for deposit. 8. Obtains and coordinates record retrieval for new and established patients. 9. Performs intake and processing of medical records and other documentation where applicable. 10. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position. 11. Maintains and Models the Organization values. 12. Demonstrates regular, dependable, and predictable attendance. 13. Performs other duties as required.
Education Skills Experience:
Required:
High School graduate or equivalent. Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred, Data Entry, Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal).
Minimum Experience:
Six months.
Other Information:
Ability to travel between practices as needed.
Salary Range:
$18.13
