Dental Associates , a privately owned , group practice in Farmington, CT is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team! We pride ourselves on providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming, state-of-the-art dental office. We are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between compassionate care and clinical efficiency.
Duties Experience:
1-2+ years of dental front-office or receptionist experience required . Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service , ensuring a positive patient impression Schedule appointments efficiently using Dentrix , while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
Coordinate Treatment:
Review treatment plans, discuss financial arrangements, and verify insurance benefits. Handle billing processes including collection of payments, posting payments, and following up on outstanding balances Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and ensuring confidentiality at all times Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (including 10 key), and familiarity with Dentrix Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and dental terminology. Ability to verify insurance benefits accurately and handle insurance claims efficiently Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and multi-line phone system proficiency Familiarity with dental terminology and dental office workflows is advantageous Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping, and administrative support tasks Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join us in delivering outstanding patient care through energetic service and meticulous administrative support! $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
