Flexible Daytime Schedule; Clinicians Create Their Own Hours Within Assigned School Coverage and Client Needs. This is a daytime position with no evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities. Approx 10-20 hours per week. Position Summary The School Based Outpatient Clinician provides outpatient behavioral health services within assigned school settings. Services include assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, family engagement, crisis support, consultation, and coordination of care with school personnel and community providers.

This non-crisis role delivers structured solution-focused therapy, family support and care coordination to stabilize family functioning, reduce safety or placement risks, and improve long-term outcomes. Clinicians collaborate with families, schools, DCF, medical providers, and community agencies. Clinicians benefit from professional supervision and verification support .• There are no on-call, weekend, or overnight responsibilities•. Clinical Responsibilities Conduct behavioral health assessments and intake evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, family, and collateral therapy services within the school setting. Support students experiencing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. Collaborate with parents, guardians, school staff, and community providers. Participate in student support meetings and PPT meetings as appropriate. Facilitate referrals and care coordination when higher levels of care are needed. Documentation and Compliance Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record. Comply with HIPAA, state licensing requirements, and payer regulations. Participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement activities. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Connecticut LMSW, LPC-A,LMFT-A, or required.
