- $20 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Vision insurance Qualifications Customer communication Sales Stocking Clean workspace maintenance Facilities maintenance Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description Seeking a qualified Medical Office Assistant and Technician on a full-time or part time basis in both of our Optometry office locations in Norwalk and Stamford.
- Patient treatment coordination.
- Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits (vision and medical)
- Front desk duties including answering incoming calls, billing and collecting payments at the time of service.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the office.
- Manage recall and inactive patient system.
- Patient work-ups and diagnostic procedures. Knowledge is preferred but will train the right candidate.
- Glasses and contact sales.
- General office maintenance.
