Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing the patient intake process, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare administration. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective patients and their families, providing clear information about services and admission procedures. Coordinate with medical staff to gather necessary documentation and verify insurance coverage for admissions. Manage patient management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems to accurately document patient information and admission details. Maintain compliance with health regulation policies while ensuring confidentiality of all patient records and sensitive information. Facilitate communication between patients, families, healthcare providers, and internal departments to ensure seamless admissions processes. Assist with administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, typing reports, and managing phone communications efficiently. Stay informed about health insurance policies and regulations to support accurate billing and reimbursement processes. Skills Proven experience working in medical offices or healthcare administrative roles with familiarity in office procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication purposes. Knowledge of health regulation policies, medical terminology, and electronic health records (EHR/EHR management). Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and client interactions. Experience with patient management software systems such as EMR/EHR platforms is highly desirable. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with privacy laws. Excellent typing skills combined with organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
