Locations:

Estero & Bonita Springs, FL Full-Time | Monday-Friday Advanced Retina Institute (ARI), a busy and growing ophthalmology/retina specialty practice, is seeking an experienced, professional, and patient-focused Patient Care Representative to join our team! The ideal candidate will have previous medical front desk experience, strong insurance knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume medical office.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient check-in and check-out. Insurance verification, Medicare eligibility, referrals, and prior authorizations. Collect copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and outstanding balances. Schedule patient appointments and manage high-volume phone calls. Maintain accurate

PM & EMR

documentation (AdvancedMD & Nextech experience a plus). Scan and upload medical records and documentation. Maintain HIPAA compliance and coordinate with clinical and billing teams. Cross-train and assist with additional front office responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of medical front desk or medical receptionist experience . Ophthalmology, retina, or specialty practice experience preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance, and patient financial responsibility. Previous

experience required. Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused.

Important Position Requirements:

Willingness to rotate between our Estero and Bonita Springs locations . Availability to work rotating extended hours, including occasionally staying past 5:00 PM .
