A Registrar or Patient Service Representative provides direct assistance to patients at a health care or long term care facility. Answers questions and helps resolve complaints; provides liaison with health care providers; may assist with coordinating appointments or addressing billing or insurance issues.
The Attendance Coordinator ensures the accuracy and integrity of student attendance records while supporting a culture of accountability and student success. This role manages attendance systems, analyzes data to identify patterns and concerns, and collaborates with faculty, staff, and families to address issues proactively. By maintaining compliance with policies and regulations and fostering clear communication across departments, the Attendance Coordinator plays a vital role in promoting student engagement and continuity of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Function as a collaborative member of the front office team, supporting the efficient daily operations of the school and providing responsive service to students, families, faculty, and staff. Assist student-athletes and families in obtaining proper attendance documentation when late or absent, ensuring compliance with school policies. Manage and maintain online attendance forms and databases, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping. Analyze attendance data to identify patterns and trends, prepare reports for Academic Leadership, and collaborate with Academic Affairs Managers and Deans to address excessive absences or tardies through early interventions. Communicate proactively with parents, Health Services, Student Life, and Athletic/APD staff to verify and resolve attendance discrepancies. Track student whereabouts using passes, Health Services updates, and other systems to ensure accountability and student safety. Ensure adherence to state, federal, and accreditation reporting requirements related to attendance. Troubleshoot attendance system issues, ensure accurate integration with relevant campus-wide systems, and provide training and guidance to faculty and staff on attendance procedures. Maintain confidentiality and comply with FERPA and all student data privacy regulations. Support school culture by monitoring student compliance with attendance and conduct expectations, including dress code. Assist with admissions and registration processes during nonacademic periods as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote). Understanding of educational and athletic environments, with the ability to navigate both effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with students, parents, and staff at all levels. Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, independent judgment, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive student information. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with a focus on customer service and school community support.
Preferred Qualifications:
