$20.00 - $23.50 / hour Join Cape Coral Hospital's Emergency Services team in a fast-paced, patient-centered role where you'll be the communication hub between patients, families, nurses, and physicians. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient experience while supporting the daily operations of a busy emergency department. Must be able to work three 12 hour shifts per week, including every other weekend and rotational holidays. This role serves as a key point of coordination between patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff to support a positive patient experience and efficient Emergency Department operations. The position combines clerical, communication, and care coordination responsibilities to help ensure smooth unit workflow and optimal patient care delivery. Core Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and clinical staff. Support patient satisfaction and a positive care experience. Coordinate nursing unit workflow and daily operations. Perform clerical and administrative duties for the department. Communicate important information to appropriate staff and leadership. Identify operational challenges and escalate concerns as needed. Assist in problem-solving and recommending alternative solutions. Support efficient patient flow within the Emergency Services department. Ideal Candidate Profile Healthcare, hospital, or patient-facing experience. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced emergency care environment. Experience with clerical, administrative, or unit coordinator responsibilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
