Starting at $17.00 per hour Job Overview We are seeking a customer-focused Dental Patient Access Representative to support front office operations at a busy dental clinic in Hollywood, FL. This opportunity is ideal for an organized, service-oriented professional with receptionist, customer service, front desk, or administrative experience who enjoys helping patients and managing multiple priorities in a healthcare setting. In this full-time role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, coordinating appointments, registrations, insurance verification, payments, and general administrative operations. This position offers the opportunity to play an essential part in creating a smooth clinic experience while building valuable experience in dental and healthcare administration. Schedule & Shift- Monday
- Friday (Clinic Hours Vary)
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday:
8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Tuesday:
10:00 AM- 7:00 PM
- Full-Time Primary Job Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors professionally and courteously.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.
- Make appointment reminder calls and follow up with no-show patients.
- Collect patient demographic and registration information.
- Verify insurance and third-party payment information.
- Collect copays and fees and process patient payments.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Support smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum one year of receptionist, customer service, front desk, or administrative experience.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Dental office experience preferred.
- Medical front desk experience preferred.
- Insurance verification experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Current BLS Certification preferred.
