Bilingual Intake Coordinator - Home Health (English/Spanish) UNICare Home Health Services, LLC Lakeland, FL Job Details Full-time $15 - $16 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Spanish English Administrative experience Medical administrative support Attention to detail Organizational skills Office experience Full Job Description UNICare Home Health Services is seeking an organized, professional, and proactive Bilingual Intake Coordinator to join our team. The Intake Coordinator will be one of the first points of contact for new patients. This person will be responsible for receiving and following up on referrals, communicating with patients, collecting required information and documents, assisting with the intake process, and following each case until the patient is ready to begin services. This position also includes a customer service, sales, and patient retention component . We are looking for someone who can clearly explain our services, build trust with prospective patients, maintain strong communication, and help ensure patients continue the process with UNICare. The position may also assist with other administrative duties, including HHA recruitment support, collecting employment documents, scheduling interviews, preparing contracts, onboarding tasks, and reviewing basic authorization information. Responsibilities Contact and follow up with new patients and referrals Collect and organize patient information and required documents Communicate with patients, insurance companies, case managers, and other organizations Maintain regular follow-up on pending cases Perform occasional visits to patients' homes Assist with initial assessments and intake documentation Support patient retention and provide excellent customer service Assist with HHA recruitment, onboarding, and document collection Review basic authorization details such as approved hours, units, and dates Maintain accurate and organized records Qualifications Fluent in English and Spanish is required Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently Comfortable speaking on the phone and using computers Reliable transportation and willingness to visit patients when needed(Business mileage will be paid at a rate of $0.76 per mile for eligible business travel) Experience in healthcare, home health, insurance, office administration, customer service, or sales is a plus, but not required
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
