Family Care ENT is looking for a Referral & Insurance Coordinator to join Dr. Herman Matallana's team. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with patients, insurance companies, and other medical offices. Responsibilities Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and patient responsibility. Determine if referrals, prior authorizations, or PCP authorizations are required. Obtain authorizations for office procedures when needed. Use insurance portals and communicate with insurance companies by phone. Process and manage incoming and outgoing referrals. Follow up with patients and referring offices to make sure referrals are scheduled and completed. Follow up on pending referrals, authorizations, and missing information. Communicate completed referral information to Dr. Matallana for patient follow-up. Maintain accurate referral and insurance documentation. Requirements 1+ year of medical office experience Insurance verification experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish required High school diploma or GED Comfortable using insurance portals and electronic medical systems Comfortable communicating with insurance companies, patients, physician offices, and medical facilities Strong organizational and follow-up skills Dependable, professional, and able to multitask

Pay:

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour
