Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year of experience in a medical clinic, customer service, or medical receptionist role (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems (preferred) Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) (preferred)
Skills:
Organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities Oral and written communication skills Basic knowledge of medical office equipment

The Patient Care Concierge I is an entry-level role designed for individuals with a strong desire to learn and provide outstanding patient service. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and supports daily front office operations in the Center. The role includes both administrative and patient-facing responsibilities, working closely with providers, clinical staff and patients to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. Responsibilities involve welcoming and assisting patients, managing scheduling and patient records, facilitating communication with the care team, and supporting smooth and effective operations within the medical center.
Duties and Responsibilites:
Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth, establishing a positive first impression Manage check-in/check-out processes, including verifying insurance, updating patient demographics, and collecting co-pays Schedule, confirm, and modify patient appointments Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries or direct calls to appropriate team members Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and efficient patient flow Maintain and update electronic patient records in accordance with HIPAA and company guidelines Provide patient advocacy and assistance to enhance satisfaction and resolve concerns Support front office operations including scanning, copying, filing, and maintaining inventory of supplies Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional office environment Assist with general administrative and clerical support as needed Local travel between care centers may be required for coverage
Work Environment:
Indoor office setting. Sitting/standing. Will be discussed with applicant.

Days & Hours:
Full Time position; Monday through Friday; 1st shift (8:00am to 5:00pm); 40 hours per week. Complete work schedule will be discussed with applicant.
Pay:
$16 per hour; depends on experience. Benefits are offered.
