Job Description

CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient rehab team. In this role, you'll deliver evidence-based interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients restore function, mobility, and independence. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, assisting with therapeutic exercise and modalities, documenting in the EMR, and educating patients and families on home programs. Responsibilities Deliver skilled PTA interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting. Implement individualized treatment plans focused on restoring function, mobility, and independence. Accurately document care in the EMR, tracking progress and outcomes per clinic standards. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and self-management strategies. Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment. Collaborate with PTs, OTs, and other team members to support a patient-first, evidence-based care model. Participate in in-service training, mentorship, and continuing education to advance clinical skills. Required Skills Therapeutic exercise implementation Manual therapy techniques (within PTA scope) Gait and balance training Neuromuscular re-education Use of physical agents and modalities Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Outcome measurement and functional testing Patient and family education Infection control and safety practices Interdisciplinary team collaboration
