Medical Office Receptionist Palmetto, FL 34221 From $20 an hour - Full-time From $20 an hour - Full-time Job Overview Visage Dermatology is seeking an experienced Medical Office Receptionist to join our growing dermatology practice. This full time position is primarily based in our Palmetto office with scheduled coverage in our St. Petersburg location approximately once per week. We are looking for a dependable and professional individual who enjoys working with patients and can confidently manage front office responsibilities in a busy medical environment. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, detail oriented, and able to multitask throughout the day while maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling appointments Greet patients and assist with check in and check out Verify insurance information and collect copays and balances Maintain accurate patient demographic and appointment records Support provider scheduling and daily patient flow Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff Assist with front office coverage in both locations as needed Qualifications Prior experience working in a medical office required Experience using ModMed/Modernizing Medicine EMR strongly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast paced clinical setting Reliable, detail oriented, and professional Ability to manage a high volume of patient interaction and phone calls Dermatology experience is a plus but not required Position Details Full time, Monday through Friday Primary office location in Palmetto Scheduled coverage in St. Petersburg approximately once weekly Competitive pay based on experience Supportive and team oriented environment About Visage Dermatology Visage Dermatology is an independent dermatology practice providing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care throughout the Tampa Bay area.
