Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the dental office
• Schedule and confirm appointments for dental treatments
• Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms
• Explain treatment plans, procedures, and financial options to patients
• Coordinate with insurance providers to verify coverage
• Maintain accurate patient records in the dental office system (e.g. Opendental)
• Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations at the front desK
• Verify insurance and input all information in practice management software Salary can be discussed based on experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a dental office setting is required
• Proficient in using dental office systems such as Dentrix but can be trained
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient care
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with phone systems and handling incoming calls professionally
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
