The ideal candidate has knowledge of insurance verification, requesting authorizations, knowledge of a medical surgical office. They are able to multitask and pay great attention to details, be able to complete task that have strict deadlines. Must have knowledge of collecting deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays and balances, etc. Must have excellent communication skills both on the phone and in person. Must be computer literate and able to adapt quickly to electronic medical record and practice management system, which is Nextgen. Must be able to accurately complete booking sheets for surgeries. This is a fast pace environment and must be able to follow instructions given by Surgical Coordinator and Surgeons. Opportunities for growth and transition into lead positions, or into medical assisting or surgery scheduling positions available based on merit. Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred). Looking for Full time staffers available to work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on assigned days. Schedule will be based on an 8 hour work day, with 30 min lunches (Monday - Friday)
