CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will implement treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist, provide hands-on patient care, document progress, and support patients in restoring function, mobility, and independence. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a patient-first, community-minded environment that values respect, teamwork, and clinical excellence. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans under supervision of a Physical Therapist Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and functional training Monitor patient response and report changes to supervising PTDocument treatments, progress notes, and outcomes in EMRAssist with patient evaluations by preparing equipment and gathering data Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment Support clinic operations including scheduling and patient flow Collaborate with PTs, OTs, and other team members on care plans Uphold CORA's patient-first, evidence-based care standards Required Skills Therapeutic exercise instruction Manual therapy assistance Gait and balance training support Orthopedic rehabilitation techniques Neurologic rehabilitation support Use of physical therapy modalities (e.g., e-stim, ultrasound) Patient education and home exercise programming Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Vital signs monitoring and basic patient assessment Infection control and clinic safety procedures
