Role Overview Responsible for greeting and registering/admitting patients. Inputs patient demographics and insurance coverage into systems. Documents communications, actions and other data in systems. Gathers pertinent information in regards to patient insurance coverage to confirm the patient's financial obligations for services. Verifies insurance coverage and obtains required authorizations when necessary. Reviews forms/paperwork and obtains necessary consents and signatures from patient and/or family. Explains policies and procedures and answers routine questions. Works with others for patient intake/bed assignment. Follows all established policies and procedures to ensure patient confidentiality, data security and compliance with regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education Required:
High School Graduate or Equivalent GED Experience Required:
