$50,000 Reports to:CPT Team Coordinator Qualifications:
° A Bachelors or Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or another behavioral science. ° At least two years of post-bachelor experience working with children and their families with one year of that experience involving work with abused and neglected children. ° Excellent organization and communication skills. ° Ability to work with other professionals and non-professionals. ° Highly sensitive to the needs and welfare of children ° Highly self-motivated, and able to work independently when required.QUALITY RANKING FACTORS
° Academic training or practical experience in and knowledge of developmental stages of children and the dynamics and effects of child abuse. ° Disposition toward multi-disciplinary team approach to the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases. ° Excellent written and Verbal Communication skills. ° Knowledge and Use of appropriate Professional Ethics and Standards.SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Intake Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for the Child Protection Team, coordinating referrals, gathering essential case information, and ensuring timely communication among medical, investigative, and social service professionals. This role supports the mission of Kids House of Seminole to protect children and provide a comprehensive response to abuse allegations. Receive and process referrals for the Child Protection Team.- Collect, document, and verify case information from law enforcement, DCF, and other agencies.
- Schedule forensic interviews, medical evaluations, and team case reviews.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support coordinated child protection efforts.
- Provide general information and resources to referring agencies and families as appropriate.
