CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in an outpatient rehab setting. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based care under the direction of a Physical Therapist, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional activities to restore mobility and independence. You'll document progress in our EMR, educate patients on home programs, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional activities Assist with manual therapy techniques and application of modalities per PT plan of care Accurately document treatments, progress notes, and outcomes in the EMR system Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and recovery expectations Maintain a clean, safe clinic environment and adhere to infection control standards Collaborate with PTs, OTs, and other team members to support coordinated, patient-first care Participate in continuing education, in-services, and mentorship opportunities Support scheduling, patient flow, and excellent customer service in a busy outpatient setting Uphold CORA's culture of clinical excellence, respect, and teamwork Required Skills Therapeutic exercise implementation Manual therapy techniques (per PT plan) Gait and balance training Use of modalities (e-stim, ultrasound, heat/cold) Patient transfer and mobility assistance Treatment documentation in EMROutcome measure administration Patient and family education Infection control and safety procedures Interdisciplinary teamwork and communication
