Cardiovascular Consultants PA is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Office Front Desk professional to join our dedicated team in Tamarac, FL. Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner at the front desk Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and patient payments Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographics in the EMR system Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages and routing inquiries appropriately Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations for cardiology services Ensure front desk area is organized, stocked, and HIPAA-compliant at all times

Requirements:

Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare front desk setting preferred Familiarity with medical insurance verification and billing processes Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and general office software Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administrative certification a plus
