Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Patient Service Representative, where your enthusiasm and dedication will make a meaningful difference in patient care. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks with precision. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth clinic operations, foster positive patient experiences, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures using patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Schedule appointments, confirm patient details, and update records accurately to ensure seamless clinic flow. Answer incoming phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries about appointments, billing, or health policies with clarity and professionalism. Verify insurance information, process payments, and support medical administrative tasks in compliance with health regulation policies. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information while managing electronic health records and sensitive data. Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up communications efficiently. Assist in managing patient flow by organizing paperwork, preparing documentation, and supporting administrative duties as needed. Skills Proven experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of health regulation policies and procedures related to patient privacy (e.g., HIPAA compliance). Strong understanding of medical terminology and medical administrative support functions. Experience using patient management software, EMR/EHR systems, and electronic health records management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and client interactions. Familiarity with health insurance processes, billing procedures, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Typing speed and accuracy to efficiently document patient interactions and administrative data. Pay:
$16.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
