We're looking for a reliable, compassionate, and hardworking Patient Care Attendant with previous animal-handling experience. From feeding and monitoring patients to maintaining clean, comfortable spaces and assisting the veterinary team, you'll help make sure every animal entrusted to us receives attentive, compassionate care. Why Our Patient Care Attendants Love It Here Spend your shifts providing hands-on care to animals Make a meaningful difference for hospitalized and boarding patients Work alongside a dedicated veterinary team Strengthen your animal-handling and patient-care skills Gain valuable experience in a veterinary hospital environment Be part of a team that values reliability, compassion, and attention to detail Opportunities for professional development and continued learning What Our Patient Care Attendants Do Safely and compassionately handle dogs, cats, and other animals Feed, water, and provide daily care for hospitalized and boarding patients Monitor patients for changes in behavior, appetite, comfort, or overall condition Promptly communicate patient concerns to the veterinary team Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint and patient-care tasks as needed Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, treatment areas, and other hospital spaces Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and welcoming hospital environment Follow established hospital safety, sanitation, and animal-care protocols Provide attentive and compassionate care to every patient What You'll Bring Previous animal-handling experience is required Comfort working with dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as scheduled A reliable and punctual approach to your responsibilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Physical ability to stand for extended periods, clean, lift, and safely handle animals Compassion, patience, and attentiveness when caring for animals Strong attention to detail A willingness to learn and continue developing your animal-care skills The Extras You'll Actually Feel This is a hands-on role where the work you do matters.
