In this position, you will be the heartbeat of our patient communication. We need individuals who are exceptionally comfortable in high-volume phone environments, passionate about patient care, and skilled at crafting and executing the optimum eyecare experience. The ideal candidates are masters of multi-tasking, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing excellent service whether over the phone or face-to-face. Responsibilities Manage incoming and outgoing calls with excellent customer care. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments within OfficeMate . Verify, interpret, and update patient charts with current insurance benefits. Conduct calls to manage appointment waitlists and doctor schedule changes. Complete patient check-in and check-out with efficient accuracy when needed. Greet patients and visitors in a professional, warm, and friendly manner. Maintain clear, concise communication to ensure smooth daily patient flow. Perform standard opening and closing procedures. Balance daily logs, and handle point-of-sale transactions with accuracy. Qualifications Excellent communication skills with a professional, empathetic phone demeanor. Proficient with electronic software programs, and multi-line phone systems. Experience in a medical/optometric front desk, or hospitality position. Strong willingness to learn, adapt and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Highly accurate in data entry, insurance verification, and message taking. Dependable, punctual, and maintains a professional attitude and appearance. Experience with OfficeMate is highly preferred but not required.
