We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated candidate to be part of our new state of the art Neurology office located in Johns Creek, GA! About Us We are a fast‑growing neurology and epilepsy practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care with efficiency, compassion, and professionalism. We value team members who are dependable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a high‑performance clinical environment. Position Summary The Front Desk Medical Office Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and proficiency with medical office workflows. Athenahealth (AthenaOne) experience and bilingual fluency (English + Spanish or Korean) are strongly preferred. We will offer a monthly stipend towards the cost of health and insurance and generous PTO, and uniform. This will be a full-time position. Monday-Friday in person. Approx hours 8:30-5:00. In lieu of health insurance in the first year, the office will provide a $150.00 health stipend monthly. Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors, provide excellent customer service, and ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Verify insurance and collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
  • Schedule new and follow-up appointments, including EEG and procedure scheduling.
  • Answer phone calls, return messages, and route inquiries to appropriate staff.
  • Maintain updated patient demographics and insurance information in the EMR.
  • Coordinate medical records requests and document uploads.
  • Support providers and clinical staff with administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies.
  • Escalate urgent patient or operational issues to the Practice Administrator. Required Skills
  • Knowledge of medical office operations and insurance verification.
  • 1-3 years of medical front office experience
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
  • Professional demeanor in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Basic medical terminology knowledge (preferred).

$17.00 - $23.00 per hour
