Roswell, GA Job Details Full-time 19 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Microsoft Excel High school diploma or GED Individual consumer customer service Typing Productivity software Clinical confidentiality policies Grammar Experience Financial acumen Full Job Description Responsible for interacting with patients in a professional manner by gathering pertinent information relating to the patient's inquires and questions regarding to surgery. Will serve as a customer service advocate with the desire to achieve corporate objectives as stated in the company's mission statement. Position requires individual to interact internally with other staff members, doctors and the general public in problem solving and responding to inquiries and questions related to hospital scheduling. Knowledge of adult strabismus and pediatric eye surgery is a plus.
Required Minimum Education:
High School Diploma, degree preferred
Required Minimum Experience:
3-5 years in healthcare with a customer service focus A combination of experience, education, and/or training which substantially demonstrates the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Explorer and the Internet Typing speed of 45 wpm Knowledge of surgical terminology Effective Communicator in providing Customer Service working with patients and physicians Proficient Grammar (oral and written) Possess a financial and analytical aptitude
Detailed Oriented and Organized Required Minimum Skills:
Problem Solver and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Positive mind-set and mannerisms (ability to inspire others) Maintain confidentiality of patients records and physicians information Effective in managing multiple tasks simultaneously
