Join Grifols, part of ABC Healthcare, as a Bilingual English/Spanish support specialist in our Healthcare & Social Assistance team. In this patient-centered role, you'll assist English- and Spanish-speaking patients with scheduling, intake, and follow-up, accurately documenting information in electronic health records and explaining care instructions clearly. You'll collaborate with nurses, physicians, and administrative staff to ensure seamless care coordination. Responsibilities Assist English- and Spanish-speaking patients with scheduling, intake, and follow-up via phone and in person Accurately document patient information in electronic health records (EHR) following HIPAA standards Explain care instructions, clinic processes, and basic service information in both English and Spanish Coordinate with nurses, physicians, and administrative staff to support seamless patient care Verify basic insurance and eligibility information and route complex issues appropriately Manage appointment calendars, reminders, and follow-up communications Handle patient concerns with empathy and escalate clinical issues to licensed staff Participate in ongoing training to maintain language, cultural competency, and healthcare process knowledge Required Skills Bilingual English/Spanish communication Medical terminology (basic) Patient intake and registration Electronic Health Records (EHR) data entry Call center or front-desk operations Scheduling and calendar management Insurance and eligibility verification (basic) HIPAA-compliant documentation Customer service in healthcare setting Basic computer and office software skills
