The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to provide outstanding support and service. Duties New Client Intake/ Coordinating Admissions with nurse and availability with Scheduler bf accepting new client Staying on top of Medicaid eligibilities and Authorizations working with Medicaid case managers and VA case managers Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records accurately within the electronic health record system. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information in compliance with privacy regulations. Putting together charts, scanning documents into clients EMR charts Handle inquiries via phone or email professionally, providing accurate information about services and procedures. Filing Pulling on call once every 4 weeks Assist caregiver issues over the phone and in person as needed. Requirements Prior experience working in a medical or healthcare office environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication with healthcare professionals. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in using office software applications and electronic health record systems. Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor. Experience in dental office settings is considered an asset but not mandatory. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare privacy standards.
