We are interested in people who are passionate about patient care and have the drive to grow with the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls in a friendly manner Greet patients upon arrival Collect, scan and return patient identification and insurance cards Register and update patient demographic and insurance information Verify insurance eligibility prior to appointment Scan in administrative and medical documents into patient chart Schedule patient appointments and maintain office clinic schedule Collect copayments and balance payments Check phone messages Maintain reception desk and waiting room areas Assist with medical records requests and recall system Communicate with vendor/pharmaceutical representatives
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education - High school diploma or equivalent Experience -At least 1 year front office receptionist or administrative position
Skills and Abilities:
Able to multitask, prioritize and use problem solving skills Able to communicate with others and be a team player Must have a positive, respectful and friendly attitude Must be flexible and adaptable to different types of situations Must be organized, efficient, detail oriented, and reliable Must be responsible for communicating with manager on a daily basis Must have basic knowledge of computer software programs e.g., Microsoft Word & Excel Training will be provided upon hire.
