Job Description

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a medical office Assistant/manager located in West Des Moines, IA.
Responsibilities:
Your Medical office assistant/manager duties include, but are not limited to:
Billing and Insurance:
Verify insurance coverage and assist with medical billing.
RCM:
Revenue cycle management Accounts receivables: Management of accounts receivables
Patient Interaction:
Greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow.
Administrative Support:
Answer phones, handle correspondence, and provide information to patients.
Record Management:
Maintain, update, and organize patient records and electronic health records (EHR).
Office Operations:
Oversee day-to-day operations, update office procedures, and ensure compliance with regulations like HIPAA.
Problem-Solving:
Address and resolve patient complaints and analyze inefficiencies.
Inventory and Supplies:
Manage ordering and inventory of both medical and office supplies.
Patient care:
Assist in patient care activities as needed Qualifications  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Strong knowledge of working with insurance companies for claims denials.  Strong organizational and multitasking abilities  Proficiency in medical terminology and computer systems  Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism  High attention to detail and accuracy  Customer service-oriented mindset Our normal hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional Saturday 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Up to $40,000.00 per year
