Job Description WELCOME! We are currently looking for an Intake Coordinator to join the IPMR family! This benefit-eligible role is 36 hours and 5 days per week. The Intake Coordinator's primary function is to enable physicians to make efficient use of their clinic time by maintaining smooth patient flow. This is accomplished by checking in our patients in a timely and accurate fashion so the patients are taken to the exam rooms and ready to see the doctor at the time of their appointment.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Greet patients and visitors to Idaho PM&R, obtaining all required patient demographics; other information and directing to the appropriate person. Answer and direct all incoming calls in a courteous, efficient manner. General clerical duties.
EDUCATION
High school graduate or equivalent. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant Certification Required within first 90 days of employment.
EXPERIENCE
: Minimum of one year experience as receptionist in health care setting and demonstrated experience with multi-line telephone system. Medical billing experience preferred but not required
