Job Description

Community Health Partnership of Illinois is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a patient-facing role focused on delivering exceptional service and support. In this position, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, helping to create a welcoming experience while ensuring accurate information, efficient scheduling, patient registration and smooth coordination of administrative needs. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner. Assist with check-in and check-out processes, including verifying demographic and insurance information. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments based on office protocols and availability. Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately. Collect copayments, balances, and other required patient payments in accordance with established procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and support documentation requirements. Provide clear communication regarding office policies, forms, and patient instructions. Coordinate with clinical and administrative team members to support efficient patient flow. Handle sensitive information with discretion and comply with privacy and confidentiality requirements. Resolve routine patient concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in a customer service, administrative, or healthcare support role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn scheduling and electronic record systems. Basic understanding of insurance verification, billing processes, or medical office procedures is helpful. Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established policies and procedures.
