Patient Services Representative:
On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Patient Services Representative for a six-month role. This position is onsite at our client's Oak Park, Illinois office. Patient Services Representative
- The Admissions Registration Specialist I is responsible for ensuring accurate and current patient registration information for all admissions and elective procedures. This role involves assisting patients in understanding their insurance options and financial responsibilities while maintaining a courteous and respectful demeanor. Patient Services Representative
- Responsibilities:
- Collect, verify, and enter patient demographic and insurance information with high accuracy.
- Ensure all necessary documents are signed and scanned for admission completion.
- Accurately obtain and communicate patient insurance benefits.
- Determine and communicate patient financial obligations with respect.
- Perform registration functions according to regulatory and organizational policies.
- Execute the admission notification process to secure payment for inpatient stays. Patient Services Representative
- Mandatory Skills:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience with EPIC.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Typing 25 WPM.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
