Work with a supportive team in a professional medical practice and physical therapy department. Use your customer-service, communication, scheduling, and organizational skills every day. Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients while providing friendly, professional customer service. Answer phones, respond to patient questions, KLARA messages, and help resolve routine concerns. Schedule and coordinate appointments efficiently while helping maintain productive provider schedules. Verify patient financial and demographic information and collect patient balances at the time of service. Obtain pre-authorizations when required Notify providers when patients arrive and assist in maintaining an efficient front-office workflow. Maintain accurate patient records performing data entry and scanning documents in EHR. Monitor office supplies and assist with inventory and supply ordering. Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming front-office environment. Complete cross-training in the physical therapy department. Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA confidentiality. Follow OSHA, office safety, and practice policies. Complete all required annual training. Contribute to a positive team environment and consistently demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and accountability. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications 1-2 years customer service or medical office experience preferred Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English Warm, professional, and confident communication style. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable using computers and performing accurate data entry. Able to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced office. Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (Hours vary from 7:30 am - 6:30 pm)
Two Saturdays/month Job Type:
Full-Time (32+ hours)
