Join Our Team as a PRN Patient Intake Specialist I Are you passionate about helping others and creating positive experiences for patients? We're looking for a compassionate, caring, and dedicated PRN Patient Intake Specialist I to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence. In this role, you'll be one of the first points of contact for patients, making a meaningful impact by providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth registration experience. As a trusted ambassador of Deaconess, you'll help cultivate a nurturing environment built on courtesy, respect, empathy, dignity, and optimism.
What You'll Do:
Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion. Register patients accurately and efficiently. Collect payments in accordance with established procedures. Direct and escort patients to appropriate locations as needed. Ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures. Serve as an ambassador of Deaconess by fostering a positive, patient-centered experience.
Education & Experience:
Completion of High School or GED is required. Knowledge of the health care revenue cycle is preferred. Understanding insurance is a plus.
