Position Summary:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, or related field Experience in behavioral health intake, admissions, or case management preferred Knowledge of ASAM criteria and insurance verification processes

Drug test at Hancock Gateway Lab Criminal background check must clear before first day

screening TB skin test or proof within past year Immunizations per Job Responsibilities (derived from ARISE policies): Coordinate clinical intake process for all new admissions Conduct initial clinical screening and assessment Verify insurance eligibility and communicate coverage to person served and family Coordinate with Medical Billing Specialist for insurance verification and enrollment assistance Ensure all admission documents are completed: Consent to Services, HIPAA Disclosure, Payment Agreement Communicate dietary needs, allergies, and medical concerns to clinical, medical, and culinary staff Coordinate admission scheduling with clinical, medical, and nursing teams Document intake in AZZLY clinical record Ensure persons served receive Rights of Persons Served documentation at admission Orient new admissions to the facility, program schedule, and expectations Communicate with referral sources and families as appropriate per 42 CFR Part 2 General Standards (All Positions): Exemplify ARISE Core Values (Compassion, Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Collaboration) Follow the Code of Conduct Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 Maintain a safe environment for recovery Participate in emergency drills and follow emergency procedures Report critical incidents per Complete orientation within 5 business days and all required annual training Self-disclose arrests, charges, or convictions within 48 hours
