Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance information and ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and complete. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and coding, as well as experience in a dental office setting. Your attention to detail and ability to navigate complex insurance systems will be crucial in providing exceptional service to our patients. •
MUST HAVE DENTAL EXPERIENCE
•Duties Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments or procedures. Review and interpret medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing. Communicate with insurance companies to resolve discrepancies or issues related to coverage. Collaborate with dental office staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient patient flow. Document all verification activities accurately in the patient management system. Provide support in the coding process, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Skills Proficiency in dental terminology and understanding of insurance verification processes. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and insurance representatives. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and data entry. Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required.
