Job Description

Pratt Family Practice is a growing Rural Health Clinic located in Pratt, Kansas, serving our community through a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. With 11 providers and continued growth ahead, we are seeking a Patient Services Associate to join our team. As a Patient Services Associate, you will serve as one of the primary points of contact for our patients while playing a critical role in the daily operations of a fast-paced medical practice. This position combines customer service, healthcare administration, insurance verification, scheduling coordination, and business operations support. What You'll Do Serve as a primary point of contact in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment Manage complex provider schedules while balancing patient needs, urgency, and clinic flow Accurately collect, verify, and update patient demographic and insurance information Perform detailed insurance eligibility and benefit verification across multiple payers Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of daily clinic operations Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and team members to resolve issues and keep operations moving Identify and escalate urgent situations appropriately while maintaining composure Navigate frequent interruptions while maintaining focus, accuracy, and efficiency What We're Looking For The ideal candidate enjoys learning, solving problems, and helping people.
