Job description Join the AIM Wellness Team AIM Wellness Medical Spa is seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Medical Assistant to join our growing medical team. We are a fast-paced wellness and medical practice focused on helping patients improve their health through hormone optimization, medical weight management, wellness and longevity medicine, and personalized care. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys patient care, pays close attention to detail, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in doing things correctly and efficiently.

Flatwoods, KY Pay:
$17-$20/hour, based on experience and qualifications Primary Responsibilities Room and prepare patients for medical visits and procedures Obtain and accurately document vital signs, medications, medical history, and other clinical information Prepare patients and treatment rooms for hormone pellet procedures Assist providers during pellet procedures and other in-office treatments Prepare medications, injections, and clinical supplies as directed Perform injections and blood draws within training and scope of practice Assist with hormone pellet dosing preparation and ensure accuracy of patient information Prepare charts prior to patient visits and verify that required labs, medications, and clinical information are available Communicate with patients regarding labs, follow-up instructions, appointments, and provider recommendations as directed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Assist with laboratory orders, specimen handling, and coordination of testing Maintain appropriate inventory of clinical supplies and notify management of needed items Clean, prepare, and maintain procedure areas and equipment Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and patient-safety standards Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other team members to provide an excellent patient experience Provide occasional front-office coverage when needed Perform other clinical duties as assigned What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable and punctual Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a busy clinical environment Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy Proactive and able to anticipate provider and patient needs Professional and compassionate when communicating with patients Comfortable learning new technology and electronic medical record systems A strong team player who is willing to help where needed Motivated to learn and grow with the practice Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred, but relevant medical office experience will be considered Previous medical office, outpatient, or clinical experience strongly preferred Experience with blood draws, injections, medication preparation, and assisting with procedures preferred Strong computer and electronic medical record skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established clinical protocols Interest or previous experience in hormone therapy, medical weight management, functional medicine, supplements, or wellness is a plus — training will be provided Schedule This is a full-time position . Candidates must have schedule flexibility and be available to work one evening per week until approximately 7:00 PM .
