Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of medical office management, including administrative support, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires leadership skills to supervise staff, and ensure a seamless patient experience. The Medical Office Coordinator will play a vital role in maintaining efficient clinic operations while upholding the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality. Responsibilities Coordinate all administrative functions within the medical office, including scheduling, patient intake, and record management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems eClinicalWork. Facilitate human resources functions related to staffing, training, performance evaluations, and employee development. Support clinical staff by coordinating appointments, managing supplies, and ensuring smooth clinic workflows. Implement quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, efficiency, and service excellence in both medical and dental settings. Experience Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within clinical office. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA. Prior work in managed care environments or utilization management enhances suitability for this role.
