What You Will Do:

Support the nursing team by providing direct and indirect patient care and performing clerical duties. Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff. Serve patients across all age populations as defined by the department's scope of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care including bathing, feeding, hygiene, and mobility assistance
• Report changes in patient condition to primary nurse promptly and accurately
• Assist with the use and removal of non-invasive monitoring equipment
• Answer call lights, anticipate patient needs, and assist in admission, transfer, and discharge
• Collect and transport specimens according to universal precautions and retrieve medications per policy
• Accurately document patient care, vital signs, intake/output, and support the nurse's plan of care
• Perform clerical duties including greeting visitors, managing supplies, answering phones, and ensuring charge capture
• Follow safety and infection control procedures, including waste removal, equipment maintenance, and proper technique
• Participate in emergency responses per BRGMC Code Blue Policy
• Perform additional duties as assigned
